Hand blown studio glass tumbler decorated with colored lip wrap, applied sinuous decoration and twisty cane work. Signed 'glass ?' item_5780_catimage_1.jpg item_5780_catimage_3.jpg item_5780_catimage_5.jpg on unfinished pontil. Approx. height 3.25 inches. I was hoping it was by James Harmon before I figured out that the first word was glass! I tried Glass Hounds, Glass House but am at a loss. Thanks for looking!

Interesting, its more like something I'd make than I'd collect, however.

I have a friend who was a apprentice under a master glass blower for a few years. He now does fine porcelain restoration work. Anyway he
use to do/make these ‘weird’ interesting and once- off items to practice and test skill. This reminds me of that.

Maybe end of day piece with left over canes, as Boland said for practice.
