Hello I was wondering if anyone might know if this vase is Chinese or India? Also any idea of age? Measures 7 1/4 tall. Thank you for any info.

I am far from an expert, but given the elephant and meander pattern to the handles, my inclination leans more toward Chinese. That being said, there's something about the finish that gives me pause as to both maker and age.

It has an attractive, graceful, and well-balanced shape.

These bronze vases with elements of archaic Chinese style and this characteristic greenish artificial patina are Japanese from the 2nd half of the 20th c.

Thank you I thought it was chinese but wasn't for sure. Yeah the fake dirt applied too didn't think it was extremely old. Thanks again!
