    Can you give an idea of the size and width of this. Where did you get this?

    I believe the motif is called anthemion, and the shape is more or less Greek, so I'd guess a souvenir of Greece (or Greek made, anyhow).

    Actually, although the shape and motif are drawn from Greece, it could gave been made anywhere (for all I know).

    Also believe this to be modern. Similar to a lot of export pottery from Mexico.

    I can't comment as to the age of it. The palmette lacking a central leaf, isn't common, also the scrolling at the bottom is atypical. Another uncommon feature, it's usually mirrors itself.I tried to find something similar but couldn't. Modern or ancient. Just my observations.
