    The botanist in me loves that the brooch is dicentra spectabilis.

    I've a few of these wee brass rings. They're generally late 19th/early 20th, sold as cheap but pretty.

    Marie, it's not marked. Surprising as ever, given it's so well made.

    I've just had a squint at the stone in the ring and it's actually turquoise, the back is rough matrix. I'm not surprised, we imported a great deal of it.
