Arc de Triomphe- Painting or print?

Hi all.. So I really don’t know much about art. I found this in a charity shop for $1. Is it a painting or a canvas print? Measures about 30x40cm. Thanks for any comments and keep well.

That's a "paint-by-numbers' painting. Some of them are going for good money on ebay these days.

I had this PBN called "April in Paris" (Palmer Paint Sales SM-402). Released in 1953, it was one of the so-called Big Four - the largest Paint by Numbers produced . It measured 27" by 36" and had a palette that contained 90 different colors.

 

That's a beauty. Must have taken many weeks to complete. I can hardly believe the prices they sell for online these days!

 

Too fun! One doesn't see those thrifting often. And love, love the original frame.

Wow,that’s huge and very impressive looking! I like it!

 

The transparency or thinness of the paint in some sections reminds me of a woodblock print. Have purchased a few woodblock over the years and that was my first impression. Just a thought.
