Creidlitz-Coburg Porcelain

Interesting question (well, I think it's interesting): I have found a teacup with this china mark, but it's spelled incorrectly. These 2 villages exist in central Germany and this china was produced between 1913 and 1980. This item appears to be missing the "l" in Creidlitz. Any ideas?

 

IF you can get a bit closer image of the mark, I can better enlargement.....

 

Maybe they outsourced production of the mark decals, got a batch with the spelling mistake and used some before it was noticed. The other possibility is that it's a bogus mark. Yours does seem to say Creiditz.


I ordered an enameled sign once that was supposed to read Oil, but when it arrived, it read Iol.
