What style is this flat seat chair?

    Is there a name for the style?
    Sorry, it’s the only photo at the moment. I know the legs would give more information but this is all I have to work with at the moment.

    I think the common name in the UK is a Hall Chair.

    I would call it uncomfortable:D

    I’ve been offered it for free and trying to work out if it’s an albatross. Together with these two. @daveydempsey please can you tell me if are these worth having to move on? Mahogany I believe.

    The hall chair I'd give a hall pass and let it wander off (hoping it wouldn't come back!). The hall tree and console table would have a far better chance of reselling in my area. They both look like they have some ornate carving and quite useful. Not sure what I'd do with a hall chair other than plop junk on it.

    The hall stand I would say yes, the table I don't know, can't see it well, both look oriental.
