B27B99E6-CBBA-4269-B93D-CB870E0DF2F6.jpeg I bought this at an estate sale- where it was sold as part of a collection of vintage coral. Now I’m not sure if that’s what it is, because the striations are different from anything I’ve seen in coral beads. The beads measure about 11mm.

Did you forget your photographs, Sarah? (Not to worry. Happens with lots of new members.)

To my eye, they appear to be dyed stone. But someone who knows more than I will be along shortly.

    Looks like dyed travertine/Mexican onyx.

ya, I'm thinking an onyx type stone also......
I'll bet they're heavy....heavier than coral would be....

From length and clasp, I'd think 1970s.

I endorse all of above. Coral colored, not coral.

    "Coral colored." An important distinction.

This distinction is especially important when selling something that is merely ivory colored.
