Featured COPPER POORER

    This rectangular box measures 5.5x4x2.5 inches
    It is made of copper with a hole on top and a spout.
    It has floral designs pressed into the sides.
    It seems to be made to pour something.
    Anybody have any idea as to what it is I would be very grateful

    Those marks are called "mon" and they are Japanese.

    You need more pictures! Just kidding. I think its a hot water pot of some sort,you could easily fill it with a funnel. Looks like theres some age there to me.

    No need for a funnel, the area around the hole is dished, just pour and it will drain into the chamber.

    Does the 'spout' swivel or is it fixed in that position? I'm wondering whether it is complete as is or whether there is something else that goes with it.
