Featured How to "unstiffen" vintage fur?

    I was going to say to contact an taxidermist/tannery who's been around awhile and ask for tips, it sounds like it was the way it was preserved. If they've been around long enough, they may know the methods and the solutions to fix it.

    UPDATE - :(:(:( It can't be fixed. :(:(:(:depressed:

    While I was trying to "massage" it, I heard a few cracking noises and plumes of white powder started to come out of the fur. Furrier said the fur will start to fall out.

    Thank you. If any of you have vintage furs, don't wear them in heavy rain or leave them outside to air out.
