Any idea about this sofa/armchairs?

Hard to tell what we have with the new paint. Quality of carving is pretty good but don't think this is a period example.

 

I am well aware of the repainting, and reupholstering. And while I tend to prefer silver paint to gold (well, unless one has gold leaf to hand), I love that shade of blue, and the gracefulness of the furniture. And yes, I'd love to pick them up and stash them in MY home.

PS: Are you famiiar with "Anything Can Happen," a book by Papashvily? Author was a compatriot of yours, from quite a while ago. One of my favorite-in-the-world books, which I have given away to friends 10 or 15 times over the years.
