It looks like Peranakan Ware, made in coastal China for the Peranakan communities of the Straits.
    Tagging @Ken Yap .:)

Inscription says Made in the Year of Qian Long. Copies and fakes abound. Includes yellow (imperial color) and the dragon has 5 claws, something that was also reserved for the emperor. Of course, any fake maker can fake make it and there's a lot of that in China.
Impossible to tell from pictures, but, just in case, don't throw it away. Try to get someone who can hold in hand knows about Chinese antiques to give you another opinion.

The Qianlong mark is stamped but the decoration seems to be hand painted. I would not call it Peranakan, such bowls would have been used in Mainland China as well. As to a date, maybe late Republic period?
