Can anyone read this? I believe the artist is Japanese. I only have this one image. Asada Kazuo? It’s a folk art painting. Thanks in advance. 998BD571-E59A-4330-AA1E-1FB87D0DE38A.jpeg 998BD571-E59A-4330-AA1E-1FB87D0DE38A.jpeg

I'm not thinking it looks like the writing of a child, but 'OH MY GOSH, It's READABLE'!!! But to me, my bigger question is how does that Chinese (or Japanese??) writing relate to the signature, IF it does!!!

i can’t thank you enough. I bet this is the guy and will do more research. I loved the work-it’s naive/primitive and came from a major folk art collection. I’ll try and get images. I searched and found nothing.

I would say it's more likely to be Japanese but seeing the front would help. I'm not sure on the characters as I'm still not great at hand writing, but perhaps something like 四年 ?田一広生 - there is a Kazu in the second part of those characters which matches with the Latin script.
