I found this little gold double marked ring in one of the boxes i inherited. In the glass(?) stone is figures carved/ and these figures are filled with gold color metalic? paint. I would like to know what those figures are and whom made this ring and for what purpose?
Any information you can provide me is very appreciated.
    Thanks for looking

Pretty ring, Hi, I like the 'pre-historic' design on the stone. The stone could be glass.

I seem to remember that the 'GOLDDOUBLE' mark is German. It means a thin layer of gold on a copper alloy (koperlegering).
Doublé gold is sweated on the base layer, which means it has a stronger bond than some other gilding techniques.

My guess of the period is 1910s, but let's wait for the others.

Looks like a carved glass to me, too.
