Help dating Minton please :)

    Hello... hope everyone is feeling fine today :)

    Can anyone please help date this cup and saucer?

    I think the backstamp is Minton, 1912 - 1950 and the impressed leaf 1914 - but I'm unsure of the other impressed marks. The pattern 3084 I understand is Cuckoo... although it seems to be mainly on Milton and Boyle from an earlier period.

    Confused :)

    Yes, you have the date right, the star type device is often found on Minton, but I've never quite found out the relevance - the impressed 'word' is just Minton if you hadn't already recognised it. Lots of old patterns were repeated at later dates if they were popular so that is no surprise.
