    What country are you in Lee? This kind of thing often does not stray far from home, so searching potters in your area could be a useful exercise.

    I'll have a look in the studio pottery bible. Also, there's an excxellent Facebook group called British Studio Mystery Pots or similar.

    If you rotate it, it almost looks like H something, HE? HL? Wacky Pound symbol?

    Yeah I think that’s the correct way up, I’m not sure how to rotate on iPhone.
