I know, I feel like this should be easy. But reading whatever is on the base is impossible!

 

There is a Latin American artist who is known for those flat-faced, flat-fingered figures. Just can't remember who it is.

It sure looks like a Susana Espinosa of Puerto Rico piece. Can’t really make your mark read Espinosa though.
Here’s a similar piece on Etsy that just barely shows the Espinosa mark, the seller apparently doesn’t know its a Susana piece.
