    Uhmmm.... ack! Clothes from the 20s and 30s are still wearable if you can find someone petite enough. That thing...nope. Just nope.

    I wasn't skinny per se, I just had a very hourglassy figure. A loooong time ago.;)
    I had to put elastic in the waistbands of jeans etc, otherwise they would be far too wide around the waist.

    I think they cut women's jeans that way on purpose. Even my plus sized ones had the same problem.

    Maybe they think it is sexy,:rolleyes: but I only associate them with a cold waist and muscle ache. I now buy jeans with elasticated bands, but I couldn't find those back then.

    I could find them, back when, but those were old lady pants. Now of course well.... I'm old enough for old lady pants.
