Symbols on a brooch

    Hi! I’ve got this brooch, it looks like a dogwood blossom to me, but I have no idea what all the little engraved things are? Has anybody seen these before? It’s hard to get good pics of them, you might have to zoom in.

    I must be doing something wrong when uploading images for a post, it’s always the last one that gets left off.

    Anyway, I can’t find any signatures, but there is one raised dot in the upper right quadrant…

    The hinge and clasp look 1930s to me, could be a bit later.

    The metal is odd, too. The front polishes like silver, but not the back.
