Age & any information on Chinese(?) tea caddy/jar with lid?

I found this in a thrift store. It doesn't have the Not to be used for food. Decoration only.
Or Made in China
But it does have a chinese character and what looks like the letter A?
And some unusual bumps on the inside bottom; like the porcelain bubbled while in oven?
Can anyone tell me how old it is?
Anything else about it?
It is 10" tall with lid & 8" tall without Also it is 7" wide

Something like 艺造角厂 - so Art Corner Factory - and probably fairly recent.

 

The correct characters are 南厂艺造 (Nan Chang Yi Zao - Art Product of South Factory/Artshop, or Art from South Work/Art/shop, and it reads top left, down, top right, down.)
Fairly recent, decorative.

Yes, I would have thought ginger jar too, although with that shape lid I have seen them called temple jars.
