Blurred Stamp

It's fine, I've seen lids like that. Staffordshire made and mid 19th. I'd have to search every page in Godden to remember who.

 

Another one from Doulton with the same lid, adapted to the mouth of this shape:

Hard to see how any of these marks could have worn to look like OP's.

I'd love to see the base of that thing. It's far too heavy and badly transfer printed for "Royal Doulton" of the period.

 

Nah. Never Doulton in a milion years. Might be Woods or someone, I'll have a think.
