Okay first watch was not a succes. 2nd one i fished out of the box is this beautiful goldplated(?) Art deco (?,) civis (?) Ancre 17 jewels pocket watch with a goldplated(?) Chain. Chain is marked with amerikaner(???) En a circle in a triangle and SP(??) in a diamond shape. 20220104_174050_copy_907x1612.jpg 20220104_174645_copy_1152x1152.jpg 20220104_174331_copy_907x1612.jpg

This watch works wery well. But i havent be able to open it yet so i dont know what movements is in it.

Any idea who the maker is of the chain and the period? And any info about the watch itself is much appreciated.

Searching for Civis Anker will bring up many hits, some with a chain much like yours.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Looks like there's an 'A' missing from 'AMERIKANER'......on the end of that chain link....but you already saw that...
