Silver or silver like etnisch bracelets

Any idea of age and origin please?
This bracelet has S925 mark. Does s925 something else than 925?

2) this one does have any markings

Often pieces made in Scandinavia are marked S925 for silver, there are no other marks? Don't know anything about the 2nd one, if not marked you should have it tested.

 

No there is not other marks.

Second one i've tested for silver but i have realy dont know whether it is silver. Ihave a hard time to interpret the results.

With 18 krt gold solution the scratches dissolves and chalk like whitish color remains. With silver test solution the scratches dissolves and an orange like color remains.

 

I use the 18k acid, test a known piece of silver side by side with it and compare the results, that's what I do.

 

The S925 mark is also used in parts of Southeast Asia.
I think your first bracelet is from Thailand. The second one could be too, but you'd have to check.

Will mention that Scandinavian/Nordic silver, (most often Norwegian, Danish and Icelandic - Sweden and Finland with well regulated assay in local offices), should be marked with the millesimal fineness followed by an 'S' rather than as a prefix...
