Featured questions re: multi string bead and fabric necklace

Firstly - Happy New Year ! I hope everyone is well and stays that way !!!!
I am told this necklace is vintage but the decade (or era) is unknown. Is there a style name for this kind of multi-string necklace ? When do think it is from ? Do you think it has any resale value ? Was this "look" ever popular ? I know nothing about jewelry, so any contributions welcome !

 

Trying to remember when using ribbon this way was a thing. 90s? This may be home crafted rather than commercial.

 

I think later, into early 2000s. I've seen a fair few commercial ones and own some.

 

May have been made in India 1990s.

 

We get a fair few through the charity shops around here. I don’t normally pick them up unless I need the beads. I’ve tried to sell a few and not had much success unless they are in a crafting/harvest lot. Sorry

 

I like the color combination of the beads.

 

Thank you everyone ! I am inclined to think antidiem could be correct. The textile material is decidedly not impressive and the piece looks too "busy" to me. There is quite a variety of beads though so I'll try and sell it, hoping a crafter will find use if no one else cares for it.
