MCM finds....

Thoughts on desirability? For resale. I've seen similar items on ebay selling for a decent amount (roosters $30-60, flying birds/ducks $50-60, lampstand -Looks a bit beat up but may be worth something??)

 

watch out with these roosters, they come in all possible and impossible makings and descriptions. from gilt bronze to cold painted to whatever.

Hi the flying geese, my family actually had a set of those on the wall.

In years gone by the prices have gone down some, tho I am not sure how much they sell for currently. Check sold prices for those. When the tv show Mad Men was in full swing, those were sold at very nice solid prices.

If the other items are brass, then they may be popular as for years now brass has been a decorative touch that many seem to still like. But again you need to check the prices on the same items to see what they bring now.

 

There are somewhat similar ones to your flying guess that are on ebay sold. The prices are all over the place but some are decent money

 

Lamp is the best thing, imo.

 

I saw this too....really random pricing, I'm a little worried because mine look to have "glass eyes" so they don't have that sleek look to them (IMO) that some MCM wall decor has.....if they're cheap enough though I might make a gamble.....With everything I get I feel like it a great learning experience in the least, so a win!

 

Do you happen to know the "technical" name for this type of lamp? Tower floor lamp? I saw it called a "lamp stand" --- I'm trying to do google image searches but not seeing exactly what I want.....
