$8,000 OBO. We are offering this exceedingly rare and unique solid bronze and hand-blown art glass FLOOR LAMP for sale. It was manufactured in the 1990s by the now-defunct Gothic Lighting Company of Phoenix, Arizona. The company designed and manufactured a variety of bat, dragon, griffin and owl-themed lamps based on historic art glass and lighting of the Loetz Bavarian Art Nouveau period.

This lamp measures just over 7 ½ feet tall, with a width of 3 feet. The solid bronze base, embellished with rows of small bats, has a 20” diameter. Each of the four large hanging bronze bats has red glass eyes and measures 19.5” wide. Suspended from the mouth is a hand-blown iridized gold and red, trailed art glass shade in a heart motif. Each is caged with a removeable bronze collar, embellished with more bats. Above the four hanging bats are four Notre Dame gargoyles, which support a huge inverted heart-shaped iridized and trailed art glass shade that crowns the top.

You may never see another one like it, we never have!

LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, we are just off of I-5 in southern Oregon. We will be happy to work with any packing and delivery service you choose for transport. Estimated weight of this lamp is APPROXIMATELY 100 lbs.

Both. I am considering bringing most of the Morguetorium items to auction in San Francisco. Some are too big or fragile to ship, and there is some mourning jewelry with various gold content that I am very unsure of.

DSC00007.JPG The last horse-drawn hearse will go up as soon as I get some decent photos of it and figure out the make and model. It was used by the Falconer Bros. in New Market, MD during the Civil War. Look what I captured reflected in the window! That is NOT me! ghostmailable.jpg

DizzyDaff Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

That lamp is disturbingly attractive! I especially like the red dripping down the globes. :vamp:
Seriously, it looks so well done. Bound to have a history to it.
Good luck on the sale, hope it goes well for you.

Thanks, it was time. We are old, tired and cranky... and it wasn't fun anymore. The hearse went to a buggy company in Minneapolis. He does actual funerals, for gangbangers apparently. The poor old hearse will probably be in some more gun battles now.
