    Hi all,

Any ideas on this one? The best I can come up with stated in the title. Thanks!

Oh and I don't have it in front of me, but l think the dimensions are roughly 13" x 8 x 5 and it weighs 3 lbs.

Seems to have initials L.D. an something stamped in green on bottom.

    Thanks!

More pics. The eyes appear to be made of glass.

Looks like they must've used green wood with all that splitting?? We had one similar to that, for the 30+ yrs we had a condo in NH, that was also left unfinished, kept near the wood stove, but it also never split like that either!!:eek:

Some resources for you- I've spent the last year liquidating my grandfather's decoy rigs from Minnesota. I have been relying on Steven Lloyd, who is a decoy expert and offers free research info and estimates https://www.goosehuntingchat.com/threads/antque-decoys-research-your-old-decoy.2626/

    decoyinformation@aol.com

Another source is the local Facebook decoy collector sites, but you will often get conflicting opinions. Even so, helpful hints.
