Elephant with swastika

    That is a Ganesha. It seems to be cast, not carved. The swastika exists in many cultures as a symbol.

    It appears to be vintage from about 1960s-1990s.

    Can you show a picture of the bottom? Maybe somebody can figure out what material it is made from.

    I think I can see resin frit blobs and holes.

    The bottom
    Is broken off its a white chalky material i side that crumbles easily. Then it looks like its painted red

    Resin is usually not crumbly, maybe yours is a plaster patinated with red colouring.
