    Looks very much like a Japanese planter for Bonsai or flower arranging called
    damn I can not think of the term.:eek::eek::eek:

    Thanks. I’ll look into Japanese ikebana pots.
    The line is the middle I guess means that the bowl was made in two part mold. But at the same time there are swirls like it has been thrown?
