Featured Dancer brooch.

This lady dancer as you can see has a magnificent quiff hairdo!
Think its Rhodium plated Chester silver, Charles Horner 1948. I can’t find another one online to figure out what’s missing. I would think it’s a Pearl but I’m wondering would it likely be real or a faux Pearl at this date? Any thoughts please? Thanks

 

It is very pretty. Would look lovely with her holding a large pearl. Maybe smaller pearls on the skirt of her dress.

 

I'd think it was a rhinestone. That's what I'm seeing the similars on the internet had.

Yes it could be a rhinestone, thanks Debora. I wish I could find another example so I can restore it to as it was. There were quite a few dancers

made by Charles Horner but most of the ones I can find are Staybrite and not holding anything.
I can’t see any glue evidence of tiny pearls although I agree they would look nice. I don’t have any pearls to fit so I’ll leave her skirt as it is.
