Buddhas help please

    Hello,
    everyone

    Can anyone help me with these 3 buddhas i bought the set in an antiques shop recently.

    one i know is "Wood" any ideas on the other two materials?

    the darker one has much more weight then the other two

    how old? country? any additional information would be great.

    Also on the wooden one they is a sticker which says MADE IN ITALY number 263 any ideas?

    they have same style,so maybe all of them were made in italy,and i think both the black and white were resin made.:bookworm:

    Can we see the base/bottoms of the other two? First thought is resin on the other 2 - and I'm not entirely sure your wood one is wood. It does look to be coated in some kind of lacquer which is crackling.

    it could be resin too,i think these buddhas are just "cheap" and mass produced fellas:D

    Agree - and I also think they're probably all from Italy - I have a resin one in the same style/pose with an Italy sticker on it.
