Need help on a "turquoise" necklace

    Hello,

    I found a necklace from local estate sale. Could anyone help me to identify if it is from natural turquoise or composite?

    Can't say for sure without good close up pics, but it doesn't look very natural from that pic.

    Magnesite is all I can see. It looks like a home crafter piece, and those brown lines are indicators of dyed magnesite. It's sometimes called "dragon bone turquoise" but turquoise it isn't.
