Featured Old Chair

    Hi all,

    Does anyone recognize this chair? I was out thrifting recently and saw that a lady had just bought it. She was kind enough to let me snap some pics after we talked about how old it might be. Thanks!

    Here, that would be early 20th. Often used in tea rooms.

    What a beautiful chair. Most unusual back. Good enough to snitch it from the lady and run away with it :shame:

    It is a modern variation on a splat-back Windsor chair. That multi-board seat makes me think 50s or later. Many made in the second half of the 20th century in the US or imported to the US. I imagine still being made today. Looks to have been refinished.
