Featured Tie clip? launching which sattelite?

I think there is a launch pad and a large radar pictured and the shuttle.

no idea if it's marked but the launch pad thing seems to have an F or C stamped on it.

clip is about 4.3 cm long and 1.5 cm wide

any information you can provide is more than welcome

 

Do the initials along the bottom of your last image spell something out- or at least what LOOKS like initials??

No idea where that came from, but I'd have nabbed it so fast.... I live maybe 10 miles from what used to be Hamilton Standard.

 

I want that. It's not any of the shuttles, but yes, microwave tower, radio telescope. Not a satellite. One of the orbiters and I ought to know which. Possibly a concept craft. 70s or 80s, I bet it was a giveaway.

No i havent seen a real space shuttle...i saw only the starlink chain last year

That's her at Stansted Airport. The queue to get in went back ten miles.

 

Yup, saw similar only in the air just outside Washington DC.

 

I've seen her in the air in the USA: they used to do trials at Palmdale. Great view from a local high view point.

The funny thing is that we Trek fans got the wrong one named!

 

The real NCC-1701 never flew under her own steam either, so....(LOL) I'd say they named the right one.
