Alien slime?

What would you call this mess of a ring? Again 70's?

 

Try a UV on it. It might be dyed reconstituted amber bits.

 

I will try that out after I get a uv light.

 

A jewelry-making class special! Copper back, random metal ring shank. The top is probably glass; they generally were, fused in a kiln designed for the purpose.

Ok thanks. The person who has them thought they were made by a novice of the sort.

 

Probably was. I had a jewelery class in 6th grade. We never did the enameled copper, but I bet somebody else did.
