    Hello!

I have this sterling silver ladle and it has maker's marks on the reverse, but I'm unable to find the maker after looking through numerous sites for help. The mark is W&GR in a rectangular box. The ladle measures 14" long and it supposedly dates to the 18th century. Any help would be appreciated!

Nice one! Coin silver means whatever coins were handy when they made the ladle. It was a common thing in the USA before the Civil War.
