Bust. Consultation.

Hello. Got me a bust. It seems to be a polystone. Height 14 cm. I can not make out the name of the author. It seems to me "corrini ".

The signature is Corrini, but the original artist is Michelangelo.
It is a souvenir after the head of Michelangelo's famous David, where the signature is is part of the sling over his left shoulder.

Or maybe it "cerrini" ?

 

Could be.
Personally I wouldn't sign a copy of someone else's work as my own, but apparently Corrini or Cerrini didn't think anything of it.
He looks as if he's had rather a bad night.

I don't want to bag on someone's artistic interpretation, but as far as David copies go, this one misses the mark, I'm afraid. It almost has a Zombie quality about it.

 

Like, the "Walking Dead."

 

Maybe it's meant to be a place to park your headphones when you're not using them.

 

Sorry, couldn't have it in the house. I'd be afraid of a giant spider crawling out of the ear.
