19th century book resource or forum?

    Two books worth owning (imho) concerning W.T. Sherman: Sherman and His Campaigns by S.M. Bowman (1865) and Memoirs of Gen W.T. Sherman by W.T. Sherman (1875). Of the latter, there are 1891 copies (4th edition, first printing, revised, 2 volumes as one) that can be had for about $40. I started a 'conversation' at your inbox with a link to the former volume (1st edition) that can be had for 20 bucks.
