2 Antique Folk Art Drawings Signed

    I have about 4 or 5 art drawing with the same signed name.The one I'm posting remind me of an old shot gun house we lived in Arkanas.Bring a smile to my face that was happy times for me.I'm 72 and remember so well. The name appears to be,"Mamie R.K.Forbes".There's 2 drawings,this set of drawings came in a large leather folder with many other posters,and artwork.Any idea SAM_5791.JPG SAM_5792.JPG SAM_5793.JPG SAM_5795.JPG SAM_5798.JPG

    Those are charming. Self-taught I expect. What state did you find them in? And would/could you show us more of the portfolio's content? Might help in identifying artist.

    Forgot,the large folder came from an old thrift store here in Memphis,there were a folder full of old prints,drawings,posters,ect
