What does it smell like?

 

I can't smell anything but that does not mean anything. I live where there is something blooming all of the time & right now everything outside is covered in yellow-green tree pollen.

Consequently the nose system is totally screwed.

 

Urg, that's nasty!

 

Allergies are bad this year. Started early here in NY too.

 

It is mostly pine tree pollen & it gets worse as the days get warmer. You can see the pods up in the pine trees & when they start to open everyone in SC is praying for a full day of rain with high winds to shake it out of the trees & then wash it away.

If that doesn't happen you can literally see clouds of the stuff in the distance if it is really dry or if you get a piddly amount of rain the gutters along the streets have streams of yellow water.

Luckily it only lasts for about a month or so.

 

I guess I will be wearing my mask now outside to help with the allergies.

 

Loratadine is my friend.

 

And mine, cheap as chips in Lidl. Stayed with friends in Dhalgren once. The PILES of yellow pollen!

It's a generic for...I forget which.

 

They will have to pry my Zyrtec (generic Walgreens one) from my cold dead hands. Between that & Mucinex it is the only thing that keeps me going.

 

I've also taken local unpasteurised honey, if you can find it.

 

You can find it where I live, but it's not easy.
