Thoughts on my new Kindjal

Hello I recently purchased this kindjal but I'm not sure if it is authentic or a tourist piece. Also can anybody can help date and translate the piece? I believe it is engraved in Arabic. Thank you for your time.

translation of all the spurious marks on the blade....... will not be easy !

 

That's what I thought it might be. I did a cheap appraisal on Valuemystuff.com and they said it was definitely an rare and authentic 19th century kindjal valued at $300 to $450. I still had my doubts.

 

The blade is poorly acid etched,doubt it is rare.

 

Seems to have some work in it. Maybe you need an in person evaluation.

Yea I don't think the appraisal was worth the money...
