Bird Native(?) painting help

    I just bought this painting (36 x 48 in) in Phoenix, AZ. They had said it was unsigned but I did find some writing on the back. It says Michael D Brown Bird Mysteries 1977
    I thought someone may recognize this name or have some information. The Bird Mysteries continue. I thought it had some Native inspiration as well. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks!
