Silly spice jar

    I can’t believe this is all that old, because it’s such a stupid way to store spices (unless there was a seal that didn’t survive). Cute, but not very practical. Also, like everything else in the house, needs a serious cleaning!

    Part of a set............very popular amongst collectors 10 + years ago.

    I still have some pieces of my grandmother's set in use. The allspice jar or whichever it was now holds my nutmeg grater. The coffee one holds coffee. I don't think what was in them was meant to be stored long.
