I found this little traditional Norwegian ale bowl today but am confused about when it might date to. As you’ll see, it has two different pottery marks on the bottom. According to my research, the blue one dates to 1887-1911, while the green one was used by Porsgrund between 1937 and 1958. Why would there be two marks from such different timeframes?

Thank you, Fid! I hadn’t found this page yet, which seems to be quite authoritative. It’s good to see there was a time when Porsgrund porcelain had this combination of marks, and that the bowl dates to 1906-1911.
