Another pair of deco bookends

Hi, here’s a second pair I suspect are American deco but could also be European. The figures are Atlas and many made similar but I can’t find the maker for these ones. Both look to be spelter on very heavy marble bases. 15cm high and the bases are 13cm long. I’d appreciate any insights to identify the maker. Many thanks.

Thanks @KikoBlueEyes i don’t think this pair ever had globes or books. There’s no indication on the hands of ever being there but perhaps just the way they made this pair.

 

Yes @Roaring20s thats what I was thinking too although the patina is more like old school French bookends I have and the bases are very thick. Again could still be Hirsch of course and made differently.
