A family piece. Would like to know more about this and a general value (tens, hundreds, thousands?). My guess is that it's 1930's or 1940's, but I don't know if vase may be earlier than the electrification. If so, does the repurposing as a lamp seriously diminish value and/or desirability?

Arita ware Imari. It has many of the characteristics and colour of similar early 20th Century japanese 1915 era ware that i have seen otherwise i would say 19th century but the colors strike me as 1915 and the backmark has to be post 1921. So i would say 1920's.
