Modern green glass vase or bowl --any thoughts?

This was at the thrift yesterday for $5.99. I didn't think too hard about it as I was in a hurry, so just grabbed it. Plus you can return things in 7 days w/their original tag.

Thoughts on this piece? Something from Pier One or Crate and Barrel? Anything better? No signature. Weights 6 lbs.

Also would I call this a vase or bowl?

It appears to have been at least partially hand done. There are bubbles, however one thing that is a little distracting is that the bubbles (although smooth to the touch) show sort of "white-ish" on the inside.

Base is a rough pontil cut, then polished. I tried to get a shot of this without taking the tag totally off.

Sorry these base photos aren't better. Was trying to not totally mangle the tag -- it was really stuck on there. I can say that it is a rough cut in the center, sharp almost, then seems like the edges are polished. Is that a clue as to whether this would have been a mass produced item or maybe something from a studio?

Was hard to photograph, but there are probably 5 or so of these white looking bubbles when you look inside the vase.


It's still kinda cool, you can see why I got it. but not sure whether it's a good resale item. Thoughts?

Any thoughts on whether this is a keeper or a return? It reminds me of some of the Norwegian glass a bit, but this is completely unsigned and has that rough bottom.
