Research 01.jpg Research 02.jpg Research 03.jpg Hello everyone, I came across your site while trying to identify a piece of porcelain I'd love to know more about. I started reading a few threads and found it all very interesting so I thought i'd join and see what I could learn.

    Many thanks

Welcome, Amanda. I was able to find some seller listings attributing this mark to Arzberg Schonwald of Bavaria but I wasn't able to find a firm confirmation. I would date it to the early 1900's. It's helpful to include dimensions in your queries but to me it looks like a relish dish.

The decorator is probably the person whose signature is on the rose leaf shown in the second picture. Can you read the whole name?

Many many thanks! That'll give me something to go on :) I think you are right about it being a relish dish, its approximately 12 in X 5.5 in

    At 12" I would say it's a celery dish.
