Featured Date of Copper & Brass Bell Push

Another random UK boot sale find.
I’m thinking 1930’s? Does that look about right?
It’s copper over brass and approx 2.5” square.

Nice, I would have perhaps said Edwardian or pre WW1 given the bellflower pattern.

I also would say late Victorian/Edwardian era. 1890 - 1910.

 

Not usually the sort of thing I look out for but it was too nice to leave.
I suspect it would have come from a wealthy families house to be that early as I would imagine more modest houses weren’t wired until later?

 

K I've picked up & sold loads of light switches and things like that...had some vitreous ones with brass which sold really well. Not really seen one like this though, it's lovely xx
