I got this off eBay for less than £30- I didn’t think they had markings but the large on has a capital P and the number 2, the smaller has some markings too (just one letter and a number.) they’re pretty heavy.

side note- does anyone know how many colours the one ear up herend bunnies fishnet were made? A367EFF8-92E6-44BB-9884-118258314E29.jpeg C5E79168-2558-4862-9E88-B8C51039C69E.jpeg A6A829E6-05C4-4F68-9B31-998E45277E3B.jpeg 415B60FD-8C35-44E0-A479-025BB997DEA5.jpeg

My best guess of who made your elephants - would be made in China as home decorations. They are quite lovely, striking gold glazes.
I cannot see the bunnies well enough to help with those.

If you photograph one of the elephants from the side and against a neutral background, you could try an image search.

I love the bunnies! I agree with Chinese decorator items on the elephants.

here are the bottom of the bunnies! Do the numerical markings mean anything special? Are any of these rare?

I don’t know anything about porcelain I just ended up with one of these and I liked it so much I keep buying another from eBay when I have enough money, want to know if I should be extra careful with any

Hello @sparclette & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

The Herend bunnies would not be considered rare but there is a strong secondary market for them online as well as at B&M shops. If you look at the link below you will see several done in the same style as yours.

    https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...nnies+&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1

The numbers would likely be model numbers or possibly the color. You can also see where the person who painted the figurine has also marked it with their initials.

How did I do what?:confused:

If you mean the link to eBay it is very simple. I searched for "herend bunnies" & then click on the "sold" options. You copy the link & paste it into the thread. You should always search the sold items because there are too many crazy people who actually think they can something for what a collectors book tells them the item is worth.

An item regardless of if it is an antique or a modern "collectible" is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for said item.:happy:

Thanks for the tip (re recent sold eBay prices)- and yes I agree re the value matter - I tried to explain the difference to my mother-in-law who assumed she could get above retail value on a diamond ring automatically at auction (even after sellers fees) hahahha- no.
